Je viens d'annoncer l'arrivée de quatre nouveaux membres dans le Membership Committee de la Fondation GNOME : Baris Cicek, Albert Mora, Eddy Mulyono, Sankarshan Mukhopadhay. Cela fera un comité tout neuf puisque les précédents membres quittent à cette occasion le comité. Sauf moi, qui reste pour assurer une période de transition...

J'espère que cela permettra de faire un peu avancer les choses. Depuis un certain temps, je me sentais un peu seul à travailler pour le comité et une certaine lassitude commence à s'instaurer au bout de plus de deux ans et demi... Du coup, je n'ai pas vraiment eu le courage de m'occuper des dernières candidatures.

J'avoue que l'arrivée de nouvelles personnes me redonnent de la motivation et je pense qu'eux aussi seront motivés, donc j'ai bon espoir !

Oh my god, the entire bastardized notion of switching from metal to aqua and hiding the sidebar when clicking on the toolbar chiclet in the upper right-hand corner.

Bonus: notice how if you click on the extreme right of the chiclet and try to switch back, you fail -- the window theme switch moved the chiclet slightly to the left and now you've got to follow it. Gag. Folks, this type of stuff makes Gnome look good.
